Hey everyone! I have been so busy with school starting up. I just decided to go back to college to finish up my Bachelor's degree. I haven't forgot about designing, I have just had to let up a little. I have scrapped a few pages this weekend in between studying, since I had three days off from school. Back from vacation! New Paper Pack and a Freebie!

We had a wonderful time-and a lot of drive time-on our trip. We went to Denver, Phoenix, and California (Disneyland of course!).

In Denver, we went to the zoo and Lookout Mountain where Buffalo Bill was buried. It was 59 degrees up there. I couldn't believe how cold it was. In Phoenix it was 114 degrees so we didn't do much there. Just rode around the town a little bit.

Then we spent 3 nights right across the street at Disneyland. We stayed at Best Western Anaheim Inn. It was really nice and the rooms are huge. Only a 5 minute walk to Disney-the most happiest place on earth! I really enjoyed being able to park hop by just a 5 minute walk to the other park. At Disney World it is almost of waste to park hop as it takes about 1 1/2 hours to do so! We got to see and do most everything we wanted to despite it being peak season. My daughter loved the Animation Academy and we must have done about 4 classes there! It was super fun.

I have the papers completed and uploaded for anyone who wishes to have them. I created these after I was bumped from Week 1 Design Star Contest but used the color palette given. I wanted to created something to scrap my Chip and Dale pictures from Disney World. I think this kit would also work great for anyone who attended the campfire movie at the campground also! Well, I didn't make it to round two-what a bummer! I sure hoped to go on, but I didn't.Oh well, it was a great learning experience. Hopefully one day I can become good at designing. Here is the preview

There's a fun Design Star Challenge going on at ScrapMatters. I entered in hopes of having a job that I can work from home! Anyway, check it out here . You have to register to see the mini kits in the gallery. They all have download links to the kits so you can collect one huge kit!

That is how it was all started by a nut....an acorn....or better yet the theme "you're nutty" for the Design Star Contest.
